Ethos is a small group of people who’ve built and run real businesses. We started in the service trade, built software for the car business, and turned the lessons into a way of owning companies. These are the people doing the work.
Co-founder — Automotive & Product
Cody is the reason Ethos started in the car business. He has spent his career close to dealerships — how they actually sell, where the process breaks, and what software could fix. He co-founded DealerCentives to solve those problems firsthand and leads product and the automotive side of the portfolio.
Co-founder — Growth & Operations
Justin founded Jive Media and spent 20+ years building it into a full-service marketing agency for 200+ clients. At Ethos he runs growth, brand, and operations — the connective tissue between the companies we own and the people they serve. He also co-founded DealerCentives and leads its go-to-market.
Where Ethos came from
Ethos grew out of two decades of running companies — an agency and an automotive platform.
Justin built Jive Media into a marketing agency that’s served 200+ clients over 20+ years. Cody built DealerCentives to fix what the car business was missing. Two companies, two industries, one habit: find a real problem, build the thing, and run it ourselves.
Ethos Ventures is how we own and operate both under one roof — and how we’ll add the next one. Same pattern every time: a business we understand, built or bought, and held for the long run.
